Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our Tile Adhesive Production Plant in Jalna. The role involves managing production planning, manpower, quality compliance, raw material utilization, cost control, process improvement, and dispatch coordination to ensure achievement of production targets with optimum efficiency and product consistency.

The candidate should have strong experience in construction chemicals, tile adhesives, dry mix mortar, wall putty, cement-based products, or related manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution

- Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules as per sales forecasts and dispatch requirements.
- Ensure timely production of tile adhesives, grouts, and other dry-mix products as per approved formulations.
- Monitor production output and ensure achievement of production targets with minimum downtime.
- Optimize machine utilization, production efficiency, and plant capacity.

Raw Material & Inventory Management

- Monitor availability and consumption of cement, graded sand, polymers, additives, fillers, and packaging materials.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Stores to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Control material wastage and improve production yield.
- Verify batch-wise material consumption and maintain accurate records.

Quality & Process Control

- Coordinate closely with QA/QC team to ensure product quality and batch consistency.




- Ensure compliance with approved formulations, SOPs, and manufacturing standards.
- Monitor rejection rates, customer complaints, and quality deviations.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve product performance.

Manpower & Plant Operations

- Manage production supervisors, operators, helpers, and contract labor.
- Ensure proper manpower deployment across shifts.
- Conduct training programs to improve productivity, safety, and discipline.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance of production teams.

Maintenance & Equipment Management

- Coordinate with maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure smooth functioning of mixers, conveyors, packing machines, compressors, and material handling equipment.
- Minimize machine downtime through effective maintenance planning.

Cost Control & Continuous Improvement

- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Improve productivity, throughput, and operational efficiency.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Monitor production KPIs and drive performance improvements.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and statutory requirements.
- Maintain secure working practices throughout the plant.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and labor regulations.

Reporting & Coordination





- Prepare daily production reports, MIS, efficiency reports, and plant performance dashboards.
- Coordinate with Sales, Dispatch, Procurement, Stores, QA/QC, and Maintenance departments.
- Support new product trials, process improvements, and plant expansion activities.

Qualification

- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5–10 years of manufacturing experience.
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial production role.
- Preferred experience in Tile Adhesives, Construction Chemicals, Dry Mix Mortar, Wall Putty, Cement-Based Products, Grouts, Sealants, or related industries.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Experience handling plant manpower and production targets.
- Ability to drive productivity improvements and cost optimization.
- Hands-on approach to manufacturing operations.
- Willingness to work at Jalna plant location.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
