Company Overview

Hwasung Mobility India Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. (HMIM) is a manufacturer of automotive components including Lumbar Support Motors (LSM), Vent Blower Motors (VBM), and PCB Assemblies. We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager who can ensure uninterrupted material availability while driving cost reduction and supplier performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end procurement of production and non-production materials.
- Develop, evaluate and onboard new suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and annual cost reduction plans.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to support production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Stores and Finance departments.
- Handle RFQs, quotations, purchase orders and supplier agreements.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluation based on Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD).
- Resolve supplier quality issues in coordination with the Quality team.
- Maintain procurement records and ERP/Excel reports accurately.




- Identify alternate sources for critical materials to minimize supply risks.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and customer requirements.
- Support cost optimization, localization and value engineering activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly procurement reports for management.

Required Skills:

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of automotive procurement processes.
- Understanding of BOM, MRP, inventory control and supply chain management.
- Excellent analytical and cost comparison skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting).
- ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent) preferred.
- Ability to work under tight production deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

- Minimum 7 years of procurement experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Experience with motors, PCB, electronics or automotive components will be preferred.
- Experience working with Tier-1 or Tier-2 automotive suppliers.

- Korean – Preferred

Reporting:

Reports directly to the Managing Director.
