Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer with experience in preparing General Arrangement (GA) Drawings for industrial plant layouts. The ideal candidate should be proficient in creating accurate and detailed 2D drawings based on engineering inputs.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare accurate General Arrangement (GA) Drawings for industrial plants.
- Develop detailed Plant Layouts using AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with the engineering team for design updates and to understand project requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable engineering standards and client specifications.
- Revise drawings based on review comments and maintain drawing revisions.
- Deliver high-quality drawings within project timelines.
- Develop equipment layouts, floor plans, and sectional views.
- Ensure drawings comply with project standards and engineering requirements.
- Revise drawings based on client and engineering feedback.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software (Other CAD softwares will be advantage).
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical design or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of design principles, GD&T;, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.




- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
- Experience in Plant Layout and GA Drawings.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs;, and layout sketches.
- Good understanding of industrial equipment placement and layout principles and manufacturing drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in plant layout drafting.
- Experience in industries such as packaging machinery, food processing equipment, or material handling systems.
