Forplanet Ingredients helps food producers go to zero food waste by upcycling their food waste and rejects. We upcycle most of the food waste to animal feed thereby powering the circular economy. Forplanet Ingredients has had a robust 2021 and is now looking for a Senior Logistics Manager to accelerate the growth in 2022 and beyond.

Senior Executive, Logistics
Location: Khopoli (Mumbai)
Budget: Competitive to market standards

Roles and Responsibility
● 10+ years of experience in managing third party transportation logistics, lead contract and rate negotiations, develop service level assurance, etc.
● Planning and implementation of tech led functions across the department.
● Manage end-to-end logistics operations including pickup planning, vehicle placement, and dispatch execution.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, transporters, and warehouse teams.
● Responsible for daily pickup planning and coordination of operational activities across locations.
● Own logistics cost optimization and continuously improve efficiency of transport operations.
● Monitor TAT adherence and ensure timely pickup and delivery as per client SLA.
● Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements.
● Ensure vehicle utilization and route optimization for better productivity.




● Coordinate with internal stakeholders (warehouse, planning, client team) for smooth operations.
● Handle escalation management and provide quick resolution for operational issues.
● Track daily performance MIS, pendency, and closure of trips.
● Ensure proper documentation and compliance as per company SOP.
● Monitor transporter performance and negotiate for better rates and service.
● Support capacity planning based on forecast and business requirements.
● Ensure high service level and customer satisfaction across operations. Screening criteria
● At least 3+ years as a manager/asst manager where he has led a team of transport executives
Has proven experience building deep relationships with transporters.
● Demonstrate market knowledge including rates in 1-2 regions in India (Mumbai, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat).
● Good with Excel, calculate cost metrics independently, computer savvy.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 per month
