Job Summary:

The Design Engineer will be responsible for preparing Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), performing

environmental and hydraulic design, and developing engineering solutions for water and wastewater

treatment projects such as WTP, STP, ETP, and CETP. The role involves technical analysis, system

design, and coordination with internal teams while reporting to the Business Head.

Key Responsibilities:

 Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for water and wastewater treatment projects

 Perform hydraulic design calculations for STP, ETP, CETP, and WTP systems

 Design treatment processes including primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment units

 Carry out environmental engineering calculations (load calculations, sizing of units, process

selection)

 Develop pipe network design including pumping systems, rising mains, and distribution

networks

 Prepare design basis reports, technical specifications, and engineering drawings

 Analyze influent/effluent parameters and recommend suitable treatment technologies

 Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and process teams for integrated design

solutions





 Review drawings and ensure compliance with standards, codes, and project requirements

 Assist in proposal preparation and technical documentation for tenders

 Provide technical support during project execution and client discussions

 Prepare reports and presentations for management

 Required Skills:

 Solid knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes (WTP, STP, ETP, CETP)

 Proficiency in hydraulic design and environmental calculations

 Understanding of pipe network design and pumping systems

 Familiarity with design software/tools (AutoCAD, Excel, Sewer GEMS/Water GEMS preferred)

 Ability to interpret technical data and prepare detailed engineering reports

 Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Experience:

 Experience in design and DPR preparation for water infrastructure projects

 Exposure to municipal/industrial wastewater treatment projects

 Familiarity with CPCB/SPCB guidelines and environmental standards

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
