To manage the hospital front desk during night hours, ensure smooth patient admission and discharge processes, coordinate with nursing and medical staff, supervise support services, and maintain hospital operations during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities Reception & Front Office Duties

- Attend and assist patients, relatives, and visitors at the reception desk.
- Handle patient registration, admissions, discharges, and billing procedures.
- Answer telephone calls and provide necessary information.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry in the hospital management system.
- Coordinate ambulance and emergency patient arrivals.

Supervisory Duties

- Supervise night-shift operations and ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, housekeeping, security, and maintenance staff.
- Monitor staff attendance and report any absenteeism or shift-related issues.
- Ensure hospital policies and protocols are followed during the night shift.
- Handle patient and attendant complaints and resolve issues promptly.

Administrative Duties

- Prepare and submit daily night-shift reports.
- Maintain admission, discharge, and emergency registers.
- Ensure proper handover to the morning shift.




- Monitor inventory of essential forms, stationery, and reception supplies.
- Escalate emergencies, equipment breakdowns, or critical incidents to management.

Patient Care & Service

- Provide courteous and qualified assistance to patients and their families.
- Guide patients regarding hospital procedures and services.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and patient-friendly environment during night hours.

Skills Required

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and hospital software handling.
- Ability to manage emergencies and work independently.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of hospital administration and patient handling.

Qualifications

- Experience in hospital reception, administration, or supervisory role preferred.
- Knowledge of hospital operations and billing procedures.

Working Conditions

- Fixed Night Shift (e.g., 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM or as per hospital policy).
- Weekly off as per hospital rules.
- Required to remain available for emergency situations during duty hours.

Pay: Up to ₹16,000.00 per month
