1. JOB PURPOSE

To perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other technical equipment within the hotel premises, ensuring 100% operational reliability, guest safety, and adherence to statutory compliance.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIESA. Maintenance & Repairs

- Conduct daily inspections and preventive maintenance (PM) of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house equipment as per schedule.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in electrical systems, lighting, power points, AC units, refrigerators, geysers, televisions, and other electronic appliances.
- Perform basic plumbing repairs – unclogging drains, fixing leaks, repairing faucets, toilets, and shower systems.
- Attend to carpentry, masonry, tiling, and painting work for minor repairs and upkeep.
- Maintain laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, and other facility machinery in coordination with respective departments.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests logged through the hotel work order system.

B. Safety & Compliance





- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations (Electrical Safety Act, NBC, Fire Safety, etc.).
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition; use PPE as required.
- Participate in fire safety drills and emergency response procedures.
- Report any safety hazards, equipment failures, or potential risks immediately to supervisors.

C. Energy & Sustainability

- Assist in implementing energy conservation measures (monitoring AC temperatures, lighting usage, etc.).
- Support the engineering team in maintaining water treatment systems, STP, and other eco-friendly initiatives of the hotel.

D. Guest Service

- Handle guest room maintenance requests with minimal disruption and utmost courtesy.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while in guest areas.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
