Position Title: Digital Transformation & Product Manager – Drilling Automation

Location: Remote with Travel

Reports To: Country Manager

Position Summary

To lead the company’s digital product portfolio and drive the adoption of drilling automation, AI, and data-driven technologies that enhance operational performance, customer value, and business growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the company's digital products including Electronic Drilling Records (EDR), Reporting Platforms, Real-Time Operations Tools, AI-driven drilling optimization solutions, analytics platforms, and drilling automation technologies.

This role will bridge drilling operations, software engineering, data science, AI development, and customer engagement to deliver industry-leading solutions that improve drilling performance, operational efficiency, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Innovation

- Develop and execute the company's digital transformation strategy.
- Identify opportunities to improve drilling operations through automation, AI, and digital technologies.
- Drive innovation and development of new digital products and services.

2. Product Management

- Own the product roadmap for EDR, reporting platforms, analytics tools, and AI solutions.
- Gather customer requirements and translate them into product features.
- Prioritize development activities and manage product lifecycle from concept to deployment.

3. Drilling Technology & Automation

- Lead initiatives related to drilling automation, real-time monitoring, and operational optimization.




- Work with drilling engineers to develop digital solutions that improve efficiency, safety, and performance.

4. AI & Data Analytics

- Drive adoption of AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics within drilling workflows.
- Develop solutions for automated reporting, performance optimization, predictive insights, and operational decision support.
- Promote data-driven decision-making across the business.

5. Software & Platform Leadership

- Collaborate with software development teams to deliver scalable and reliable web-based applications.
- Oversee platform enhancements, system integrations, user experience improvements, and cybersecurity considerations.
- Ensure products align with customer and business requirements.

6. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

- Engage with operators, drilling contractors, and industry partners to understand operational challenges.
- Present product capabilities, gather feedback, and support customer adoption.
- Assist business development efforts through technical demonstrations and solution presentations.

7. Team Leadership & Collaboration

- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including software developers, AI engineers, data analysts, and drilling engineers.




- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to technical and product teams.

8. Business Growth & Performance

- Support growth of the company's digital products and recurring software revenue.
- Monitor product performance, customer satisfaction, and adoption metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and deliver measurable value to customers.

Required Qualifications Education

Bachelor's Degree in one of the following:

- Petroleum Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Computer Science
- Software Engineering
- Data Science
- Information Technology

Preferred:

- MBA
- Master's Degree in Engineering, AI, Data Science, or Technology Management

Experience Requirements

Essential

- 10+ years industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years leading digital products or technology initiatives.
- Experience in oil & gas drilling operations.
- Experience managing software development projects.
- Experience with cloud-based web applications.
- Experience working directly with customers.

Highly Desirable

- Directional drilling experience.
- Drilling engineering background.
- Experience with EDR platforms.
- Real-time drilling data systems experience.
- AI/ML project delivery experience.
- Digital oilfield transformation experience.
- SaaS product management experience.

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹4,000,000.00 per year
