Job description

A Reliability Engineer will have a keen interest in data and numbers, often collecting and analyzing key data metrics from processes or components. From here, they can create statistical analyses, charts, drawings, and reports to help illustrate and showcase potential issues within a product lifecycle or business process and how to improve them. Many of these issues involve taking a macro look at other factors and helping businesses make the best decisions.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with other engineers and software development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems.
- Design and improve existing CI/CD processes and pipelines Build CI/CD pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of both large and small-scale systems using various release strategies (blue/green, canary, etc) Automate tools to monitor system health and reliability to support business process requirements.
- Versed in infrastructure as code practices using technologies like Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc.
- Proficient in writing social media content.
- Identify and improve on possible points of failure in the infrastructure/applications.
- Execute automation for known cloud-operations tasks,



and create a new automation for current situations or issues you encounter; automate everything.
- Collaborate with a great team to maintain, monitor, and improve amazing cloud-based applications that solve real-world problems for end users.
- Terraform, Ansible, Azure, and AWS (and various service offerings within CDNs, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS)- too many to list, and it changes a lot!), spinnaker, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Python, .net, microservices, SQL. Understanding of or experience with event-driven architecture is a plus
- Should have a solid understanding of Azure Services Provisioning that includes Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure SQL Database
- Should have knowledge of Monitoring, Security, and Backup of Azure
- Good knowledge of Azure stack (Storage, Compute, Network) Ability to program (structured and OO) with one or more high-level languages, such as Python, Java, C/C++
