IMC Certifications is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our marketing team. You'll be responsible for editing engaging e-learning videos, promotional content, and trendy social media reels/shorts that resonate with our audience. If you have a sharp eye for storytelling, love keeping up with the latest Instagram/YouTube trends, and know your way around Premiere Pro and After Effects, we'd love to see your work.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Production

● Edit e-learning videos, training content, and long-form videos with solid storytelling, pacing, and visual flow

● Create trendy, high-retention Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form social content

● Add motion graphics, transitions, text overlays, subtitles, and sound design

● Perform color correction and color grading

● Optimize videos for different platforms and formats (aspect ratios, durations, captions, etc.)

Creative & Marketing Alignment

● Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign and course objectives

● Contribute creative ideas for content concepts, hooks, and visual direction

● Ensure brand consistency across all video outputs

● Stay on top of trending audio, formats, transitions,



and editing styles on Instagram/YouTube and adapt them to IMC's content

Asset & Workflow Management

● Organize raw footage, project files, and content libraries systematically

● Manage multiple projects/timelines and deliver content on schedule

● Stay updated with content trends, platform algorithm changes, and format requirements

Requirements

● 3+ years of experience in video editing (agency, in-house, or freelance)

● Strong portfolio demonstrating e-learning/educational content, commercial, social media, or brand content

● Proficiency in:

○ Adobe Premiere Pro

○ After Effects

○ Photoshop / Illustrator

● Proven experience editing both long-form (e-learning/training) and short-form social media content

● Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and trend awareness for Reels/Shorts

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, content-driven environment

● Good communication and collaboration skills to work closely with the marketing team

Good to Have

● Basic scriptwriting/storyboarding skills

● Experience with captions/subtitle tools and multilingual content

● Familiarity with e-learning content standards
