A Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) store manager in Siliguri oversees inventory, procurement, and operations of MEP supplies, ensuring smooth organizational support for construction and industrial projects.

Role and Responsibilities

- Inventory Management: Maintain records of MEP supplies, manage stock levels for electrical, plumbing, and mechanical materials.
- Procurement and Vendor Management: Source materials from suppliers, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Team Supervision: Oversee store staff, assign tasks, manage shift schedules, and ensure productive workflow.
- Sales and Customer Service: Assist contractors, project managers, and clients with orders, provide product guidance, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure proper storage and handling of electrical and mechanical parts,



comply with safety standards and company policies.
- Reporting: Track sales, generate inventory reports, and provide updates to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills

- Educational Background: Typically requires a diploma or bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related fields. Management degrees or certifications may be preferred.
- Experience: 3–7 years in warehouse, store, or supply chain management within construction or MEP sectors.
- Key Skills: Leadership, organization, inventory control, procurement, negotiation, knowledge of MEP products, and basic computer skills for inventory software.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
