Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pattern & Cutting Master specializing in women’s western wear. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing accurate patterns and ensuring precision in cutting as per design specifications, fit standards, and quality requirements. This role requires strong technical expertise in pattern making, grading, marker planning, and fabric utilization to support productive production and minimize wastage.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and create patterns based on designer sketches, tech packs, and size specifications.
- Ensure proper garment fit, styling, and comfort during sample development.
- Perform grading for different sizes while maintaining measurement consistency.
- Prepare marker layouts to optimize fabric consumption and reduce wastage.
- Supervise cutting operations and ensure accuracy as per approved patterns and markers.
- Troubleshoot pattern and cutting issues during sampling and bulk production.
- Coordinate with design,



merchandising, and production teams for timely execution.
- Maintain proper documentation of patterns, grading, and markers (manual/CAD).
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in women’s western wear.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and production timelines.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design, Textile, or Apparel Production.
- 7–12 years of experience in pattern making and cutting for women’s western wear.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and finishing.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Gerber, Lectra preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of fabrics, trims, and production processes.
