About the Role

Mauli is a luxury handcrafted cashmere house rooted in handcrafted embroidery. We're looking for a Senior Designer to join our core team and help shape the design direction of our upcoming collections — someone who combines strong technical craft knowledge with a sharp eye for the luxury market.

What You'll Do

- Research given inspirations and translate them into multiple design directions for new lines and collections
- Lead the development of surface embellishment techniques across garments and accessories, with all samples produced in-house
- Bring versatility across design briefs, adapting sensibility to different collection needs
- Collaborate closely with the core team on collection planning and roadmap
- Apply a strong understanding of the Indian luxury market and target clientele to inform design decisions
- Liaise with sourcing where relevant to identify the right materials and techniques

What We're Looking For





- 5+ years of experience in high-end surface embellishment and apparel design (this role is not suited to freshers)
- A robust portfolio demonstrating surface embellishment work on garments and/or accessories — this will be a key part of our review
- Hands-on experience developing in-house samples, from concept through execution
- Versatile design sensibility, comfortable working across varied briefs and aesthetics
- Working knowledge of sourcing is a plus
- Deep understanding of the luxury market in India and its clientele
- A hands-on, motivated, and passionate approach — someone ready to be an integral part of a close-knit design team
