1) Education Qualification :

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production Engineering
- (Preferred: Certification in ERP, IMMS, or Supply Chain Management)

- 2) Experience :
- 5–10 years of experience in raw material management, fabrication-heavy industries, or capital equipment manufacturing

- 3) CTC Budget :

- As per company standards

- 4) Job Knowledge :

- Full control and accountability of raw material movement.
- Scheduling procurement in line with Planning & Production requirements.
- Knowledge of cutting processes (Water Jet, Laser, Shear, Plasma, Hacksaw-Bandsaw).
- BOM verification and fabrication drawing interpretation.
- Familiarity with ERP/IMMS systems.
- Understanding of stock accuracy, physical verification, and deviation analysis.
- Scrap identification, disposal, and minimization.
- Implementation of better storage solutions with space utilization, traceability, and retrieval.

- 5) Job Skills :

- Indent raising and procurement scheduling.
- Daily and weekly material issue planning.
- Inventory management and reporting.
- Coordination with QC for inspections.
- Root cause analysis and corrective actions for deviations.
- Team supervision and forming shop operations.
- Documentation and compliance with material receipt notes, gate passes, and transfer slips.

- 7) Roles & Responsibilities :
- Job Purpose :

- To manage raw material operations effectively,



ensuring timely procurement, accurate inventory, optimum usage, and compliance with quality and safety standards.

- Job Duties / Responsibilities :

- Control and accountability of raw material movement.
- Raise indents and schedule procurement as per production needs.
- Ensure timely issue of material in correct quantity and specification.
- Maintain 100% stock accuracy in inventory and WIP.
- Conduct physical stock verification at prescribed intervals.
- Analyze deviations between system data and actual stock, implement corrective actions.
- Investigate scrap generation and ensure optimum material usage.
- Manage forming shop operations and enforce workplace housekeeping.
- Inspect incoming materials for damages and issue deficiency/damage reports.
- Verify material specifications, gate passes, transfer notes, and weighment slips.
- Provide regular inventory reports and work out minimum stock levels.
- Analyze consumption, lead time, shortages, damages, and excesses.
- Implement improved storage solutions for efficiency and traceability.
