About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Subject Matter Expert (SME) specializing in Routing & Switching to design, implement, optimize, and support enterprise network infrastructure. The role requires deep technical expertise in routing protocols, switching technologies, and network architecture with a focus on high availability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Network Design & Architecture

- Design and implement scalable LAN, WAN, and data centre network solutions.
- Develop network architecture standards, design documents, and best practices.
- Lead network transformation initiatives (e.g., SDN, fabric-based networking).

Routing & Switching Expertise

- Configure and manage routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and IS-IS.
- Implement advanced switching technologies (VLANs, STP/RSTP/MSTP, VXLAN, EVPN).
- Optimize network performance through traffic engineering and route optimization.
- Perform network capacity planning and performance tuning.

Operations & Support

- Provide L3 support for complex network issues and outages.
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, and connectivity issues across environments.

Data Center Networking

- Design and support spine-leaf architecture.
- Implement overlay networks (VXLAN/EVPN).
- Work with load balancers and high-availability technologies.

Cloud & Hybrid Networking

- Integrate on-prem networks with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Implement hybrid networking (VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect).
- Ensure optimal route between on-prem and cloud environments.

Automation & Innovation (added advantage)





- Develop network automation solutions using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for network provisioning.
- Enhance operational efficiency through automation.

Governance & Documentation

- Maintain network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise policies and standards.
- Support audits and risk assessments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- 6–10 years of experience in networking, with strong focus on routing & switching.
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Cisco, Arista, Juniper, or equivalent platforms
- Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
- Switching: VLANs, STP, VXLAN/EVPN
- Solid understanding of:
- TCP/IP fundamentals
- High availability and redundancy mechanisms (HSRP, VRRP, GLBP)
- QoS and traffic management

Preferred Qualifications

· Certifications:

-CCNP / CCIE (Routing & Switching or Enterprise)

-JNCIP / JNCIE (Juniper)

-ACSP/ACSX

· Experience with:

-Software-defined networking (SD-WAN, SDA)

-Data center technologies (ACI, NSX, EVPN)

-Network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, NetFlow)

· Knowledge of scripting and APIs for automation.

Pay: ₹1,600,000.00 - ₹1,900,000.00 per year
