We have urgent opening for position of Fire door Manager

Designation: Fire Door Manager

Location: Umbergaon - Gujrat

Key Responsibilities:

Position Overview: The Fire Door Manager will be responsible for managing the complete Fire Door Manufacturing Division, ensuring production targets, product quality, statutory compliance, customer satisfaction, and on-time project deliveries. The role requires solid technical knowledge of fire-rated steel door manufacturing, production planning, quality systems, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management

· Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.

· Ensure timely manufacturing and dispatch of fire-rated steel doors.

· Optimize manpower, machine utilization, and production efficiency.

· Reduce production losses, rework, and material wastage.

· Monitor fabrication, bending, welding, assembly, powder coating, and final inspection activities.

Quality Assurance

· Ensure all fire doors are manufactured according to approved drawings and customer specifications.

· Ensure compliance with applicable fire door standards and certification requirements.

· Coordinate internal quality inspections and support third-party audits.

· Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.

Team Management

· Lead Production Engineers, Supervisors, QC Engineers, Store personnel, and Shop Floor Operators.

· Conduct daily production meetings.

· Train employees on manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety practices.

· Monitor attendance, discipline, productivity, and performance.





Planning & Coordination

· Coordinate with Sales, Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Dispatch teams.

· Ensure availability of raw materials and hardware.

· Monitor project delivery schedules and customer commitments.

· Resolve production bottlenecks to achieve delivery targets.

Safety & Compliance

· Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.

· Maintain 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing practices.

· Ensure preventive maintenance of production machinery.

· Maintain ISO documentation and production records.

Inventory & Cost Control

· Control raw material consumption and reduce scrap generation.

· Monitor production costs and improve operational efficiency.

· Verify production reports, inventory records, and daily MIS.

Qualifications/Competencies:

· B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent. Experience

· 8–15 years of experience in Steel Fire Door, Metal Door, Sheet Metal, or Engineering Manufacturing.

· Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial role.

· Experience in fire-rated door manufacturing will be preferred.
