Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Food Chemist with hands-on experience in food analysis, laboratory testing, product formulation, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of food chemistry, analytical techniques, quality standards, and regulatory compliance, along with practical exposure to food manufacturing and product development.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct chemical, physical, and analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Support product formulation, reformulation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform shelf-life studies, stability testing, and product validation.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and other food safety and quality standards.
- Prepare laboratory records, technical reports, Certificates of Analysis (COA), and testing documentation.
- Investigate quality issues, conduct root cause analysis,



and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with R&D;, Production, and Quality teams to support product development and process optimization.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration records, and ensure adherence to laboratory best practices.
- Monitor ingredient quality and ensure compliance with product specifications.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of food chemistry, analytical testing, and laboratory techniques.
- Hands-on experience in product formulation, quality control, and laboratory operations.
- Good understanding of FSSAI regulations, HACCP, GMP, and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience in shelf-life studies, stability testing, and food safety practices.
- Proficiency in laboratory documentation, report preparation, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team workplace.
