- Billing Operations: Supervises OPD, IPD, emergency, and corporate billing workflows. Reviews discharge bills and verifies accuracy in charge capture, pharmacy costs, and consumables. [1]
- Insurance & TPA Management: Oversees the processing of mediclaim forms, pre-authorizations, and third-party payer settlements. [1, 2]
- Revenue Integrity: Conducts internal audits to prevent revenue leakage and handles dispute/denial management. [1, 2]
- Team Leadership: Leads and evaluates a team of billing executives, sets department KPIs, and trains staff on billing software and protocols. [1]
- Reporting: Prepares daily/monthly MIS reports for hospital administration and addresses escalated patient billing queries
