Role:
To design, develop and validate switches, Sensors and other related components.

Responsibility:
Conceptualization of current switches based on the vehicle styling input.

3D Layouting of Switches and related components in Unigraphics

Preparation of 2D drawings and related component drawing.

Development and evaluation of Switches based on various MSIL standards.

Optimization of cost and performance

Root cause analysis, countermeasure study, and simulation of various markets, assembly or other quality problem.

Performing various vehicle level testing.

Competency Requirements:
Technical/Functional:
CAD proficiency- preferably Uni-Graphics (NX11)Good knowledge in the different type of switches & overall vehicle I/Os.





Knowledge of advance systems like AutoAC, Anti Pinch P/W sw etc.

Understanding of Plastic molding & sheet metal designing

Knowledge of standards (JIS/JASO/ISO), regulations & future roadmaps related to automotive electric parts.

Product life cycle system knowledge, Understanding of BOM

Knowledge of ISO 9000/ TS 16949/ ISO 14001

Specific expertise required for functional area :
Minimum 3-years experience in directly working for design/ development of vehicle switches & sensors.

Preferably have work experience in an OEM
