- Operate pouching machines for manufacturing different types of pouches
- (3-side seal, center seal, zipper, stand-up pouches, etc.)
- Set up machine parameters such as temperature, sealing pressure, speed, and cutting length
- Load laminated rolls and ensure proper alignment and tension
- Monitor sealing quality, cutting accuracy, and pouch dimensions
- Check for defects like seal leakage, misalignment, wrinkles, or improper cutting
- Perform job changeovers efficiently as per production plan
- Maintain minimum wastage and achieve production targets
- Conduct routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and inform maintenance team if required
- Maintain daily production reports and job records
- Follow safety, quality, and GMP guidelines
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: 10th / 12th pass or ITI (Mechanical preferred)
- Experience: 5–7 years in pouching / bag-making machines
- Knowledge of laminated films (BOPP, PET, LDPE, etc.)
- Understanding of heat sealing and cutting process
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
