Job Summary

Magnate Study Abroad is looking for a energetic and result-oriented Student Counsellor to guide students in making informed decisions about their higher education journey. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in study abroad counselling with excellent communication and counselling skills. Experience in Study Abroad counselling will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities1. Lead Reach-out

- Identify and connect with prospective students through phone calls, emails, WhatsApp, social media, and other communication channels.
- Generate and nurture student leads through consistent follow-ups.
- Maintain and regularly update the database of prospective students and enquiries.
- Convert enquiries into successful admissions through effective relationship management.

2. Counselling & Course Promotion

- Counsel students and parents regarding academic programs, admission procedures, eligibility, and career opportunities.
- Understand students' educational background, career aspirations, and recommend suitable programs.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding courses, universities, fee structures, scholarships, and admission timelines.
- Promote the organization's programs and services professionally and ethically.

3. Sales & Admission Conversion

- Achieve assigned weekly and monthly admission targets.
- Handle student queries, concerns, and objections effectively to maximize conversions.
- Guide students throughout the admission and enrollment process.
- Coordinate with the admissions and documentation teams to ensure smooth onboarding.

4. Communication & Coordination

- Maintain a professional, courteous, and persuasive approach in all student interactions.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for lead generation campaigns, seminars, webinars,



and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with academic and operations teams to ensure a seamless student experience.
- Share valuable feedback from students and parents to improve counselling and communication strategies.

5. Administration & Reporting

- Accurately record all student interactions, lead status, and follow-up activities in the CRM system.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on calls, follow-ups, admissions, and conversions.
- Ensure proper maintenance of student records and documentation.
- Adhere to company processes, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of experience in Student Counselling.
- Experience in Study Abroad Counselling is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malayalam (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong counselling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with students and parents.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience using CRM systems.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
