**Job Description**

**Summarized Purpose:**

We are offering an outstanding opportunity to join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Engineer III, Software Quality Assurance.

In this role, you will drive quality engineering initiatives across enterprise, cloud, healthcare, and AI-powered applications, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver results.

Expertise in test automation, API validation, SQL-based data verification, and Agile delivery.

Proven ability to lead testing efforts, improve release quality, and support modern software development practices in regulated environments.

**Education/Experience:**

+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field

+ 5plusyears of experience in software testing

+ Extensive experience testing web, cloud, microservices, and AI-driven applications.

**Major Job Responsibilities:**

+ Design, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test strategies

+ Perform functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing

+ Validate application data and business rules using SQL queries





+ Ensure adequate test coverage and maintain documentation

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**

+ Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC

+ Experience in API testing and integration testing

+ Proficiency in SQL and data validation

+ Familiarity with Agile methodologies

+ Strong debugging and analytical skills

**Must Have Skills:**

+ Manual and API testing expertise

+ SQL proficiency

+ Agile and defect management tools

+ Robust communication skills

**Good to Have Skills:**

+ Exposure to automation testing

+ CI/CD pipeline awareness

+ Domain knowledge (regulated environments preferred)

**Working Hours:**

+ India: 05:30 PM to 02:30 AM IST

+ Philippines: 08:00 PM to 05:00 AM PHT
