Job Description :

To oversee the entire factory operations including production, manpower management, quality, maintenance, safety, and compliance. The Factory Manager ensures smooth functioning of the plant, achievement of production targets, cost control, and implementation of company standards and policies.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

· Plan, organize, and supervise daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.

· Ensure production targets, efficiency, yield, and timelines are achieved.

· Optimize machine utilization, reduce downtime, and improve productivity.

· Coordinate with planning, purchase, and stores for uninterrupted material flow.

· Ensure product quality meets company and customer standards.

· Implement and monitor quality systems (ISO, GMP, HACCP, etc., as applicable).

· Coordinate with QA/QC for in-process checks, audits, testing, and documentation.

· Address and resolve quality deviations, customer complaints, and non-conformities

· Manage supervisors, operators, technicians, and contract labour.

· Conduct manpower planning, shift scheduling, performance evaluation, and training.

· Maintain discipline, teamwork, and safety culture among employees.





· Develop leadership capabilities within the factory team.

· Coordinate with maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.

· Ensure machines, utilities, and equipment are operating at optimum efficiency.

· Supervise installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery.

· Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations.

· Monitor and control production cost, wastage, energy consumption, and manpower usage.

· Implement continuous improvement initiatives

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

· Strong leadership and team management skills

· Excellent knowledge of production processes and factory operations

· Good understanding of quality standards and safety norms

· Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability

· Robust communication and reporting skills

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

· Knowledge of ERP, MS Office, and factory management systems

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
