Role Summary

Responsible for administration, performance, availability, and security of cloud-hosted

MySQL databases across enterprise platforms. The role supports production workloads

in private/hybrid cloud environments with high availability and compliance requirements.

Key Skills (Must-Have)

 MySQL database administration (cloud/on-prem)

 Performance tuning, query optimization, troubleshooting

 High Availability: replication & failover

 SQL proficiency

 Backup, restore & Disaster Recovery (DR)

 Database security (access control, authentication, encryption)

 Linux (RHEL/CentOS)

 Database monitoring & alerting

 Strong incident/problem management skills

Positive-to-Have

 Exposure to private / hybrid cloud platforms

 Understanding of storage, networking, virtualization

 Experience in regulated / enterprise environments (BFSI preferred)





 Scripting / automation exposure (Shell / Python)

Core Responsibilities

 Administer and maintain MySQL databases on cloud platforms

 Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability

 Implement and manage replication, backup, and DR

 Perform capacity planning and performance tuning

 Apply security controls and compliance standards

 Execute version upgrades and patching

 Monitor database health and resolve incidents proactively

 Collaborate with application, cloud, and infrastructure teams

 Works independently on standard issues; escalates complex design changes

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
