About the Role

Krishna Translations is looking for a tech-savvy Bengali Translator to join our global remote team.

This is a dynamic, dual-purpose role designed for someone who loves technology just as much as they love languages. Your primary focus will be translating and proofreading documents between Bengali and English, while also stepping in as a Virtual Assistant to support our daily business operations. If you are highly organized, comfortable with spreadsheets, and eager to learn new business skills, this is the perfect fit for you!

What You Will Do

· Translation: Translate, edit, and proofread various documents and materials between Bengali and English, ensuring accuracy and proper grammar.

· Virtual Assistance: Manage day-to-day back-office tasks, handle emails, organize project files, and help coordinate workflows.

· Tech & Data Management: Use Google Spreadsheets for data entry and tracking business metrics, and utilize modern AI tools (like ChatGPT) to speed up administrative work.

· Special Projects (Optional): Depending on your skills, you may have the opportunity to assist with basic bookkeeping or coordinate digital marketing and social media campaigns.

What We Are Looking For

· Language Skills: Flawless written and reading skills in both Bengali and English, with the ability to type accurately in the Bengali script.

· Tech-Savviness: Strong, hands-on experience with Google Spreadsheets,



general computer troubleshooting, and a quick learner when it comes to new software.

· Remote Readiness: A highly organized self-starter with a reliable internet connection and a personal computer.

· Attention to Detail: You catch typos easily, follow instructions carefully, and care deeply about the quality of your work.

Bonus Points (Preferred but not required)

· Digital Marketing: Experience with social media management, basic SEO, or online branding.

· Bookkeeping: A background in Commerce or familiarity with basic accounting and bookkeeping processes.

· Translation Experience: Previous experience in the localization industry or familiarity with CAT tools like Trados or MemoQ.
