Job Description

OM Consultants is seeking a dynamic and student-oriented Academic Counsellor to join our team at Jafferkhanpet Ashok Nagar Chennai . The role involves counselling students for academic and overseas education opportunities and supporting them through the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students on academic programs, universities, and career options
- Guide students through admissions, eligibility, and documentation processes
- Handle student inquiries via walk-ins, calls, emails, and online platforms
- Follow up with students and parents to ensure successful enrollments
- Assist with application submissions and deadlines
- Maintain accurate student records and reports
- Coordinate with internal teams and partner institutions





Preferred Languages

- English (mandatory)
- Malayalam (preferred)
- Hindi (preferred)

Working Schedule

- Working Days: Monday to Saturday
- Working Hours: 8 hours per day
- Holidays: All major public holidays

Salary

- INR 30,000 per month

Requirements

- Previous experience as an Academic Counsellor or Education Consultant preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, CRM preferred)
- Student-focused and result-driven mindset
