The Junior Librarian assists in the day-to-day operations of the library by supporting the circulation, organization, and maintenance of library resources, while providing assistance to students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in issuing, returning, and shelving library books and materials.
- Maintain library records and update the Library Management System.
- Support cataloguing, stock verification, and maintenance of library resources.
- Assist students and faculty in locating library materials.
- Ensure proper organization, cleanliness, and discipline within the library.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Librarian.
Qualification
- Diploma or Certificate in Library Science / Library & Information Science from a recognized institution.
Experience
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in a library will be an added advantage.
Skills
- Basic computer knowledge and MS Office proficiency.
- Positive communication and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
