Mechanical Engineer (EAF, LRF, EOT Crane & FAFS)

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 7–10 years of experience in steel plant maintenance, including Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), Ladle Refining Furnace (LRF), EOT Cranes, and Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting Systems (FAFS). Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, rotating equipment, and condition monitoring techniques. Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, using CMMS/SAP PM, and conducting root cause analysis (RCA). Well-versed in industrial safety standards, permit-to-work (PTW), lockout/tagout (LOTO), and statutory compliance for lifting and fire protection systems. Capable of planning maintenance activities, improving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, leading maintenance teams, and ensuring safe and productive plant operations.Position-Specific Skills – Mechanical Engineer (EAF, LRF, EOT Crane & FAFS)

Strong technical knowledge of Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), Ladle Refining Furnace (LRF), EOT crane systems,



and Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting Systems (FAFS). Skilled in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance planning, equipment reliability improvement, and breakdown analysis. Experienced in hydraulic systems, cooling water systems, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, lubrication systems, hoisting mechanisms, and heavy industrial equipment. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs;, and equipment manuals. Proficient in root cause analysis (RCA), condition monitoring techniques, shutdown maintenance planning, spare parts management, and CMMS/SAP PM systems. Strong problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and safety management skills with the ability to ensure reliable and efficient operation of critical steel plant equipment.
