Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor/ Engineer is responsible for overseeing daily injection molding manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient utilization of manpower, maintaining product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role focuses on optimizing production processes, reducing waste and rejection, improving machine efficiency (OEE), and maintaining high standards of workplace organization through 3C and 5S practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manpower Management

- Plan and allocate manpower effectively based on production requirements.
- Monitor workforce productivity and optimize deployment across shifts.
- Identify opportunities for manpower reduction through process improvements and automation.

2. Production Efficiency & Improvement

- Drive continuous production improvement initiatives to enhance output and efficiency.
- Reduce cycle time through process optimization and elimination of bottlenecks.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and targets.

3. Quality Management

- Implement actions to reduce rejection rates and improve first-pass yield.
- Monitor part quality and coordinate with quality teams for corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.

4. Machine & Process Optimization

- Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through better machine utilization, reduced downtime, and improved performance.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize breakdowns and ensure equipment reliability.

5. Shopfloor Management (3C & 5S)





- Implement and sustain 3C (Concern, Cause, Countermeasure) practices for problem-solving.
- Ensure effective execution of 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) across the shopfloor.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working workplace.

6. Cost Reduction & Waste Elimination

- Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities.
- Drive initiatives to reduce scrap, rework, and material wastage.

7. Team Leadership & Development

- Supervise, train, and motivate production team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and skill development activities.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree/ CIPET in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing or production supervision in Injection molding.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, injection molding process OEE, and process improvement tools.
- Familiarity with 5S, Kaizen, and root cause analysis techniques.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
