We are looking for a meticulous and customer-focused Engineer – Pre-Delivery Inspection

(PDI) to ensure that every finished Electric vehicles meets all quality, safety, functional,

and aesthetic requirements before dispatch. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye

for detail and a commitment to delivering defect-free products to customers.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in final Inspection or PDI of Automotive, Electric Vehicles,

Battery Packs, or Electrical Products.

Qualification

 Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Electronics,

Mechatronics, or related Engineering.

Job Purpose

To ensure every finished Electric vehicles complies with quality, safety, functional, and

aesthetic requirements before dispatch to customers.

Key Responsibilities

 Conduct comprehensive Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of finished vehicles.

 Verify vehicle functionality, fit & finish, electrical systems, battery, charging system,

lighting, dashboard, braking, and safety features.

 Perform functional tests and road tests (where applicable).

 Identify and report defects for rectification.





 Verify completion of rework before vehicle release.

 Ensure all documentation, accessories, labels, and customer requirements are

complete.

 Maintain PDI records and product traceability.

 Coordinate with Production and Service teams for timely closure of quality issues.

Required Skills

 Knowledge of EV systems and vehicle assembly

 Functional testing and troubleshooting

 Basic electrical diagnostics

 Inspection and reporting skills

 Robust attention to detail

 Good communication and coordination skills

Additional Skills

 Knowledge of ISO 9001 (IATF 16949 knowledge is an added advantage)

 Understanding of 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, CAPA, 5S, Kaizen, Poka-

Yoke, FMEA, and Control Plans

 Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments

 Proficiency in MS Excel and report preparation

 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

 Willingness to work in shifts and on the shop floor

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
