We are looking for an experienced NPD Formulator / Flavorist to join our Greenfield R&D; team and lead the development of cutting-edge water dispersible, effervescent, and functional nutraceutical tablet formulations.

This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in product formulation, flavor optimization, ingredient compatibility, and commercialization of nutraceutical products.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize water dispersible and effervescent tablet formulations.
- Design palatable flavor systems and masking solutions for vitamins, minerals, botanicals, and nutraceutical actives.
- Evaluate ingredient compatibility, solubility, stability, dissolution, and sensory performance.
- Conduct formulation trials, pilot batches, and scale-up activities from lab to commercial production.
- Work closely with procurement, manufacturing, QA, and regulatory teams to ensure successful product commercialization.
- Prepare technical documentation including Master Formula Records (MFR), Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Product Specifications, SOPs, and stability protocols.
- Coordinate product validation, shelf-life studies, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
- Ensure formulations comply with FSSAI and applicable domestic and international regulatory requirements.




- Stay updated on emerging ingredients, technologies, flavor trends, and innovations within the nutraceutical industry.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years of experience in NPD, formulation, or flavor development within Nutraceuticals, Functional Foods, or Health Supplements.
- Strong expertise in water dispersible tablets, effervescent tablets, instant drink tablets, or oral nutraceutical dosage forms.
- Hands-on knowledge of flavor development, taste masking, sweetener systems, and sensory evaluation.
- Experience with formulation optimization, ingredient functionality, and process scale-up.
- Working knowledge of FSSAI regulations, product documentation, and quality systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
