PROJECT ENGINEER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

- Lead a team of our control panel division that includes design, production and testing.
- Analyse and interpret all project related documents (Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural, etc.) to accurately quantify all controls and instrumentation required before design.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) meeting project and client specifications.
- Produce an accurate control system and control panel design drawings using AutoCAD and E-Plan.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize projects in accordance with deadline requirements.
- Work in conjunction with Customers, Company Management, Design and Production Team, and Contractors to properly execute a project.
- Ensure all control panel designs are produced to comply with the requirements of IEC standards and customer’s specifications.
- Assists in developing uniform procedures and standards for the design and production process.
- Ensure flawless execution of control panel projects from Inquiry Stage till Commissioning.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:





- A minimum of five years of related experience or combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of IEC 61439 standards.
- Should be familiar with the concepts of HV, LV, MV Electrical Power Distribution and Control.
- Should be familiar with Instrumentation Panels (Safe area as well as Purge/Flameproof Panels for Hazardous areas).
- Should know about PLC and Automation panels.
- Robust Ability to read and interpret design specifications and plans.
- Must manage a design and production team of 15 people.
- Ability to compose emails and general correspondence. Ability to speak, write and read English.
- Proficient computer skills with all basic office programs (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook) and the ability to learn and use related software and systems are required.
- Experience with AutoCAD and E-Plan is a must.
- Additional knowledge of control panel design software (such as Solidworks etc) is a strong plus.
