Job Description

We are looking for a Flex Machine Operators, skilled technician responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing machines used in the production of flexible packaging materials. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of printing processes. The Flex Machine Operator reports to the Production Supervisor or Printing Manager and collaborates closely with the printing and production teams.

Required Skills:

- Strong technical aptitude and mechanical skills.

- Knowledge of printing plate preparation, registration, and print quality standards.

- Understanding of safety procedures and protocols in printing environments.

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

Role & Responsibilities

- Review work orders and job specifications to understand printing requirements and materials.

- Setup and prepare the flexographic printing machine by selecting appropriate plates, inks, and other materials.





- Monitor machine operation and make real-time adjustments to ensure consistent print quality and registration.

- Mix and prepare inks according to color specifications and job requirements.

- Monitor ink levels and viscosity throughout the printing process to maintain color consistency.

- Conduct regular visual inspections of printed materials to verify color accuracy, print clarity, and overall quality.

- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions and printing-related issues.

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

- Maintain accurate records of production runs, materials used, machine settings, and any maintenance performed.

- Optimize machine settings, print parameters, and registration to maximize production efficiency.
