Job Title: Multi-Skill Technician

Job Summary

. The role ensures smooth operation of equipment and quick response to breakdowns, reducing dependency on specialized manpower.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operation & Maintenance

Perform routine operation and maintenance of:

Electrical systems (LT panels, motors, lighting)

Mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, conveyors)

HVAC systems (chillers, AHU, cooling towers)

Ensure all systems are running efficiently with minimal downtime

2. Troubleshooting

Identify and rectify faults in electrical and mechanical systems

Attend breakdowns and restore equipment in minimum time

Coordinate with specialized teams (HT, automation) if required

3. Preventive Maintenance

Execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules

Maintain checklists for equipment inspection

Monitor key parameters (temperature, pressure, vibration, current)

4. Basic Repairs & Fabrication

Carry out minor fabrication, fitting, and alignment work

Perform basic plumbing and utility maintenance

Replace faulty components like bearings, valves, switches, etc.

5. Utilities Handling





Assist in operation of utilities like:

Boilers / compressors / chillers

Water systems / STP / ETP

Ensure uninterrupted utility supply

6. Safety & Compliance

Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

Maintain housekeeping and protected work environment

7. Documentation

Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and checklists

Update records for equipment history and repairs

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems

Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments

Understanding of drawings and manuals

Troubleshooting and quick fault identification

Basic knowledge of PLC (added advantage)

Qualification:

ITI (Electrician / Fitter / Refrigeration & AC) or Diploma in Engineering

Experience

2–6 years in plant maintenance / facility management / utilities - preeti hr +91-XXXXXXXXXX

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,239.00 per month
