We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant Intern to join our finance team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, bookkeeping, and taxation processes. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles and eagerness to learn in a skilled environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in maintaining financial records and bookkeeping.
* Support the preparation of invoices, vouchers, and expense reports.
* Help reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
* Assist in GST documentation and filing processes.
* Record daily financial transactions in accounting software.
* Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
* Organize and maintain accounting documents and files.
* Assist senior accountants with audits and financial analysis.
* Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.
Requirements
* Pursuing or recently completed B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, CMA, or related finance/accounting course.
* Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Familiarity with MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Good communication and organizational abilities.
* Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills
* Knowledge of GST basics.
* Proficiency in formulas and data handling.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
