HVAC Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to design, install, maintain, and optimize heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will ensure systems meet performance, energy efficiency, safety, and regulatory standards while delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design HVAC systems based on project requirements and applicable codes.
- Prepare heating and cooling load calculations.
- Develop HVAC layouts, ducting, piping, and ventilation designs.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Select HVAC equipment, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF systems, pumps, cooling towers, and ventilation fans.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and MEP teams.
- Supervise HVAC installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Inspect installed systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform preventive maintenance planning and equipment performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, ASHRAE standards, and client specifications.
- Monitor project schedules, quality, and budgets.
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates.
- Support procurement by reviewing vendor quotations and technical submittals.
- Implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce operational costs.





Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–8+ years of experience in HVAC design, installation, or maintenance.
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles, psychrometrics, and load calculations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and HVAC design software (e.g., HAP, Revit MEP, Carrier HAP).
- Understanding of ASHRAE, SMACNA, and local building codes.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with commercial or industrial HVAC projects.
- Familiarity with VRF, chilled water, DX, and ventilation systems.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability practices.
- Experience in testing, balancing, and commissioning.
- Project management and client coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
