We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Quality to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities in transformer manufacturing. The role involves ensuring products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and company quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quality assurance and quality control activities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO and customer quality standards.
- Supervise incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
- Coordinate transformer routine, type, and special testing.
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct internal quality audits and supplier quality reviews.
- Maintain quality documentation and inspection reports.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, and Service departments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and guide the quality team.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
- 5–8 years in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
- Experience in transformer or electrical equipment manufacturing preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Transformer testing and inspection.
- Knowledge of BIS, IEC, IS, and ISO standards.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and CAPA.
- Documentation and audit management.
- MS Office and ERP systems.
