Job Summary

Actuate Technologies Private Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer with strong expertise in Fabrication, Special Purpose Machines (SPM), and Conveyor Systems. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and mechanical design, with the ability to lead design projects from concept to manufacturing while mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of fabrication equipment, SPMs, and conveyor systems based on customer and project requirements.
- Prepare and review detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, assembly drawings, and manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD software.
- Develop and verify Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing and assembly.
- Coordinate with fabrication, production, procurement, and installation teams to ensure timely project execution.
- Perform design calculations, material selection, structural analysis, and tolerance studies.
- Optimize designs for performance, cost,



durability, and ease of maintenance.
- Review and approve design changes, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot design-related issues during manufacturing and installation.
- Mentor junior design engineers and provide technical guidance throughout project execution.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in fabrication design, conveyor systems, or Special Purpose Machine (SPM) design.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other CAD design software.
- Solid knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, structural design, machine assembly, and manufacturing processes.
- Good understanding of mechanical components, drive systems, material handling equipment, and industrial automation layouts.
- Experience in leading design projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
