Job Summary

The Room Boy is responsible for maintaining guest rooms, corridors, and assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition. The role ensures guest comfort by providing high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

Key ResponsibilitiesRoom Cleaning

- Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop floors.
- Clean bathrooms, mirrors, fixtures, and amenities.
- Replenish guest supplies such as toiletries, tea/coffee items, and drinking water.

Housekeeping Duties

- Maintain cleanliness of corridors, stairways, and public areas as assigned.
- Report maintenance issues and damaged items to the supervisor.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Follow hotel hygiene and sanitation standards.

Guest Service

- Greet guests politely and respond to basic requests.
- Deliver extra amenities, towels, or supplies when requested.
- Report lost and found items according to hotel procedures.




- Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Safety & Compliance

- Follow workplace safety and health regulations.
- Use cleaning materials and equipment safely.
- Report accidents, hazards, or security concerns immediately.

Qualifications

- Minimum 10th or 12th pass preferred.
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping procedures.
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

- Full time position.
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying supplies.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
