Job Description – Packaging Executive / Packaging Operator (Food Industry)

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Salary will be based on the candidate's knowledge, skills, and relevant experience.)

About the Role

Fazlani Foods Pvt. Ltd. is looking for dedicated and quality-conscious Packaging Executives to join our production team. The ideal candidate should have experience in food packaging operations, ensuring products are packed accurately while maintaining hygiene, food safety, and quality standards. Candidates with experience in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry will be preferred.

Key ResponsibilitiesPackaging Operations

- Operate and monitor food packaging machines efficiently.
- Ensure products are packed as per company quality and packaging standards.
- Verify correct product labels, batch numbers, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, and packaging materials.
- Ensure proper sealing, coding, and packing of finished products.
- Perform routine checks to minimize product wastage and packaging defects.

Quality & Food Safety

- Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), SOPs, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP, FSSAI, and company quality policies.
- Report any quality issues, machine faults, or packaging defects immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness of the packaging area and equipment.

Machine Handling

- Operate semi-automatic and automatic packaging machines.
- Assist in machine setup, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdowns and preventive maintenance.





Documentation

- Maintain daily production and packaging records.
- Record machine output, downtime, wastage, and production reports.
- Ensure accurate documentation of packaging activities.

Team Coordination

- Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Dispatch teams.
- Support supervisors in achieving daily production targets.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of food packaging processes.
- Understanding of GMP, hygiene, and food safety practices.
- Ability to operate packaging machines.
- Good observation and attention to detail.
- Basic documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work in shifts when required.
- Team player with a positive attitude.

Educational Qualification

- ITI / Diploma / HSC / Graduate in any discipline.
- Candidates with qualifications related to Food Technology, Food Processing, Packaging Technology, or Mechanical Engineering will have an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in Food Manufacturing or FMCG industry preferred.
- Freshers with a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of packaging machinery and quality standards.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a production environment.
