Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop the test strategy / test approach / test plans for CR Mining products.
- Gain deep understanding of CR Mining products/components/technology and how these components integrate into the system.
- Gain overall knowledge of the system landscape (IoT device as the data source to visualization options for the end user).
- Expected to come up with effective ways of testing all components in the ecosystem in isolation (shift left approach) and in an integrated fashion.

Develop test scenarios / test cases and identify candidates for automation based on repeatability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Basic understanding of telematics h/w and sensors, IoT Hub and Gateways, Device management, Bi-directional communication, OTA Upgrades.
- Prior experience with manual and automation testing tools/approaches.
- Test environment set up (hardware/software/simulation) for End to End verification.
- Expertise in C# (.NET),



Selenium automation framework, playwright, Azure DevOps, Git, DevOps Pipelines, MS Test, Page Object Model pattern, Data-driven testing.
- Good to have – GitHub Copilot.

Key Responsibilities
1. To design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for assigned software modules and features.
2. To utilize automation tools and frameworks to increase test efficiency and coverage to perform various types of testing (functional, regression, usability, and API testing).
3. To identify, reproduce, and document software defects according to established procedures.
4. To proactively partner with developers to analyze, prioritize, and verify defect resolutions, while actively participating in test reviews to drive continuous improvement and best practice sharing.
5. To stay up-to-date with the latest testing trends and technologies and contribute to the creation and maintenance of test automation frameworks/ libraries.
