Tender Heart NGO is looking for a skilled, passionate, and dedicated Sewing / Stitching Teacher to train and empower individuals through practical sewing and tailoring skills. The candidate will play an important role in vocational training programs aimed at promoting self-reliance, confidence, and livelihood opportunities, especially for women and underprivileged communities.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach basic to advanced sewing and stitching techniques.
- Train students in cutting, measuring, tailoring, embroidery, and finishing.
- Operate and demonstrate the use of manual and electric sewing machines.
- Prepare lesson plans and practical training schedules.
- Guide students during hands-on projects and assignments.
- Maintain attendance records and student progress reports.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of sewing machines and equipment.
- Create a positive, inspiring, and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, and skill development among learners.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 12th Pass.
- Certificate/Diploma in Tailoring, Fashion Designing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in tailoring or teaching stitching/sewing.




- Good knowledge of sewing techniques, tools, fabrics, and measurements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and ability to teach learners of different skill levels.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of fashion designing or pattern making.
- Experience conducting vocational training workshops.
- Ability to work with women, specially-abled individuals, and diverse learners.
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
- Passion for social work and community empowerment.
