Job Description

- Project Planning & Execution
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Manage end-to-end execution of substation projects (EHV/HV substations, 220 kV & above).
- Ensure compliance with Oil & Gas facility regulations, HSE requirements, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project for project scheduling.

- Leadership & Coordination
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams including engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and internal stakeholders for approvals and progress updates.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of substation equipment (GIS/AIS, transformers, protection & control systems, switchgear, SCADA, etc.).

- Technical & Contractual Management




- Review and validate electrical designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, ANSI, and Oil & Gas industry standards.
- Administer contract terms, manage claims, variations, and resolve disputes with stakeholders.

- Financial & Resource Control
- Monitor project costs, cash flow, invoicing, and profitability.
- Optimize resource utilization (manpower, materials, equipment).
- Coordinate procurement of long-lead items and critical equipment.

- HSE & Quality Assurance
- Implement stringent HSE management systems in compliance with Oil & Gas safety standards.
- Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed at all stages of project execution.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and quality inspections.

- Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare project progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and clients.
- Maintain proper documentation of engineering, construction, and commissioning records.
- Ensure project close-out, handover, and warranty obligations are fulfilled.
