Job Description – TIG Welder (Skilled)

Key Responsibilities

- Perform high-quality TIG welding on Stainless Steel (SS) components as per production drawings.
- Read and understand production drawings, dimensions, and welding requirements before starting work.
- Set up and operate TIG welding machines, gas cylinders, and welding accessories safely.
- Ensure proper fit-up, alignment, and tack welding before final welding.
- Produce clean, smooth, and defect-free welds with minimum grinding and rework.
- Weld SS sheets, tubes, profiles, and fabricated assemblies as per quality standards.
- Inspect welded joints for quality, penetration, alignment, and finishing.
- Coordinate with Fabrication, Grinding, and QC teams for smooth production flow.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of welding machines.
- Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality standards at all times.




- Achieve daily production targets while minimizing rejection and material wastage.
- Report welding defects, machine issues, or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain proper PPE usage, workplace discipline, and 5S standards.

Skills Required

- Valuable knowledge of TIG welding on Stainless Steel.
- Ability to read production drawings.
- Knowledge of welding parameters, filler rods, and shielding gas.
- Ability to use measuring instruments.
- Good workmanship with attention to quality and finishing.
- Teamwork and safety awareness.

Qualification

- ITI Welder / Fabricator or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in TIG welding of Stainless Steel fabrication.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
