We are looking for a Video Editor who can transform research scripts and voiceovers into compelling YouTube videos that maximize audience retention and engagement.

This is not a basic editing role. The ideal candidate understands YouTube storytelling, pacing, visual communication, and motion graphics.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit long-form YouTube videos (8–20 minutes)
- Source and organize visuals, stock footage, images, maps, and graphics
- Create engaging visual sequences that support narration
- Design motion graphics and animated infographics
- Create map animations and geographic visualizations when required
- Add sound effects, music, transitions, and subtitles
- Improve pacing and viewer retention throughout videos
- Collaborate on thumbnail and visual strategy when needed
- Deliver projects according to content calendar deadlines

Required Skills

- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent professional editing software
- Experience with Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics software
- Understanding of YouTube audience retention and storytelling
- Ability to create clean and professional motion graphics




- Strong visual sense and attention to detail
- Ability to independently source appropriate visuals
- Good communication and project management skills

Preferred Skills

- Experience editing documentary-style YouTube videos
- Experience creating animated maps
- Experience with educational or explainer content
- Knowledge of color grading and audio enhancement
- Familiarity with AI-assisted editing workflows
