ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Textile Designer to join our Design team at Arjan Impex Pvt Ltd. The candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing fabric designs that align with market trends, buyer requirements, and seasonal collections. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rapid-paced export environment, contributing to international buyer collections across EU and US markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop original design concepts for fabrics, prints, and embroideries

· Create tech packs, flat sketches, and detailed design specifications for production teams

· Conduct trend research using fashion forecasting tools, trade fairs, and buyer briefs

· Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, and production teams to ensure design intent is maintained

· Develop seasonal collections in line with buyer requirements and market trends

· Review and approve samples; provide corrective feedback to the sampling team

· Maintain a library of design references, color palettes, and fabric swatches

· Assist in fabric selection, trims, and accessories sourcing

· Work on CAD software for print and pattern development





· Prepare mood boards and presentations for buyer meetings and design reviews

REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field

· 2–6 years of experience in a home furnishing export house company

· Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW

· Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and manufacturing processes

· Understanding of global fashion trend and buyer markets (EU / US)

· Excellent creative, visualization, and communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple collections simultaneously and meet strict deadlines

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

Reports To : Head of Design / Design Manager

Salary : Competitive, as per industry standards

Working Days : Monday to Saturday

Notice Period : Immediate joiners preferred
