Stream – Manufacturing and assembly of products

Location – Pillaipakkam, Sriperumbudur

Brief

Product portfolio covers various types of door closer, floor springs, locks, hinges and accessories. The incumbent should have working knowledge of product development and understands manufacturing and process flow. Suitable candidate shall be dynamic and highly skillful and should be willing to take recent responsibilities and challenges.

Managing the tactical execution of short- and long-term product development projects.

Advocate customer and business needs throughout product development phases (planning, concept, design, implementation, and testing)

Identifying and developing vendors for various components

Coordinating activities related to costs, timelines, methods, and staffing.

Designing, manufacturing, and installing components.

Analysing problems and resolving issues through working solutions.

Coordinating with various suppliers and developers in successful completion of the project

Evaluating capabilities of shortlisted vendors and maintaining quality checks and inspections

Assisting production team to set suitable lines for assembly and packaging of products.

Responsibility

1. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and production, to ensure alignment and integration of new product designs.

Keeping abreast of industry trends and advancements in technology to incorporate into future projects.

3. Providing technical support and training to team members and stakeholders.

4. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the product development process.

5. Preparing detailed reports and documentation for project milestones and deliverables.

Qualifications

1. The incumbent should have relevant bachelor / master’s in mechanical engineering or production engineering. B-tech, BE mechanical and similar streams

2. Good Knowledge of English and communication is a must

3. Sound knowledge of Materials, casting, forging, stamping, Assembly.

4. Understanding of machining, tooling and fixtures for CNC machines

5. Knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modelling will be an added advantage.

Skills

1. MS Office, excel and PowerPoint

2. Proficiency in English language

3. 2D and 3D modeling will be a added advantage

Preference

1. Proven ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner

2. Proven ability to collaborate well with all levels of technology counterparts to deliver results.

3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with focus and precision

4. Must possess good working knowledge of all functional elements and associated business rules within their assigned products.
