This role is part of the Maintenance Department, reporting to the Maintenance Manager, and requires hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and process improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment failures, taking preventive actions to eliminate repeated failures

- Poka Yoke implementations and working knowledge in PLC (Omron, Mitsubishi, Keyence, safety devices)

- Troubleshoot programmable logic controller (PLC) systems to improve efficiency, safety, and productivity

- Integrate PLC systems with automation components like sensors, actuators, and servo motors

- Receive breakdown information and collect breakdown data from ERP system

- Report data to AM & D.M/MGR

- Ensure maintenance breakdown data & Empower data matches

- Maintain manuals, hydraulic circuits, and electrical circuits

- Collect PM & breakdown data and update in system

- Update downtime percentage in system

- Prepare purchase requests and coordinate procurement with materials team

- Maintain and update stock daily

- Track RGP/NRGP for maintenance-related activities

- Ensure spare retrieval within 5 minutes

- Monitor earth neutral voltage, hydraulic oil temperature, and control cabinet temperature daily

- Maintain good housekeeping practices

- Close breakdowns with user signature and acceptance





- Analyze breakdowns using 5 Why tools and identify permanent corrective actions

- Execute corrective actions

- Record breakdowns on shift basis and update history records

- Conduct online troubleshooting training

- Update spare parts stock register regularly

- Ensure effective shift handover communication

- Handle shifts if reliever is unavailable

- Identify machine abnormalities during breakdown

- Achieve departmental objectives and KRAs

- Analyze hydraulic oil condition monthly

- Monitor pressure, speed, clamp force, noise levels, and vibration of motors

- Support and develop supervisors and Sr. Supervisors

- Analyze breakdowns and PM abnormalities using CMMS

- Support Assistant Manager in achieving departmental goals

- Update spare stock after PM usage

- Competent in handling manpower and leading CFT team

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

- Proficient in planning, scheduling, and ERP routing

- Experience in high-volume complex production line

- Ability to mentor and drive lean culture initiatives

- Good communication skills in English and Tamil
