Quality Engineer – Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and maintain product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and quality audits to ensure compliance with standards.
- Identify defects, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Prepare and maintain quality documents, inspection reports, and records.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer specifications, and company quality policies.
- Coordinate with production, design, and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.
- Use quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and 8D for problem-solving.
- Support internal and external quality audits and customer inspections.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce rejections.
- Train production personnel on quality procedures and best practices.





Required Skills

- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001/IATF 16949 (preferred).
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, and quality standards.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quality documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related Engineering.

Experience

- Freshers to 3 years in Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC).

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
