An Aerospace Quality Engineer ensures that aircraft parts, assemblies, and manufacturing processes meet strict aviation standards. They bridge the gap between quality management systems (QMS) and on-the-floor quality control (QC) to prevent defects, ensure airworthiness, and maintain full regulatory compliance
Core Role & Responsibilities
Quality Management System (QMS) & Compliance
Standard Enforcement: Maintain and update the QMS to align with aerospace standards like AS9100, ISO 9001
Audit Leadership: Conduct internal audits and manage external regulatory or customer audits.
Documentation: Manage non-conformance reports (NCR), concessions, and technical records in compliance with airworthiness directives
Quality Control (QC) & Operations
Inspections: Oversee receiving, in-process, and final inspections of raw materials, components, and assemblies.
Defect Resolution: Lead root cause analysis (RCA)
utilizing methodologies like 8D, FMEA, or 5 Whys.
CAPA Execution: Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to stop the recurrence of manufacturing and assembly flaws
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 1-3+ years in aerospace manufacturing, defense, or highly regulated precision engineering.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong command of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;), blueprint reading, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Meticulous attention to detail, robust problem-solving skills, and solid cross-departmental communication
Pay: ₹17,486.07 - ₹24,000.00 per month
